State and Statute: Colorado, Stats. §§ 19-3-301 et seq. (originally enacted in 1987; statute language affecting what appears here most recently amended in 2017; all language verified here as of November of 2017)

What Is Reportable "Abuse": Physical, sexual, or mental abuse, or neglect, by a parent, guardian, or legal custodian. [19-1-103]

Mandatory Reporters: Includes any "clergy member," public or private school official or employee, child care center employee, licensed professional counselors, licensed marriage and family therapists, unlicensed psychotherapists. [19-3-304(II)(B)(2) and 19-3-304(aa)(I)]
